Deeply felt sadness.
Salted flowing tears.
Closing down, shutting in and shutting up.
Grief. You feel it at different times throughout your life. You feel grief for loads of different reasons. All of them valid.
One of the most difficult challenges about grief is keeping it inside. It is a heavy emotion to bear. You don't want to burden someone else with your grief so you soldier on and conceal it.
Don't. . . .
Express it.
Reach out and let someone listen.
Allow them to hear what you feel.
Connect through your grief.
True courage is when you permit yourself to lean.
Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself the compassion you give others.
When you feel a bit stronger, release your grief by moving your body, painting, scribbling, singing, journaling or what feels best for you. Help grief go.
Don't forget.
Learn and when you are ready, move forward.
Grief makes you human.
Grief is love you aren't expressing.
Love is everything.
